  • Risk increased from MARGINAL to SLIGHT risk (2 out of 5 risk level)

  • Timing change from 2 pm to 10 pm to now Noon to 10 pm.

  • Tornado threat removed.

  • Hail size decreased to "small."

  • Multiple rounds referenced, and concern with later rounds equal with earlier rounds.

This is your heads up message for the potential for severe weather on Wednesday, 26 June 2024.


Summary:

  • Potential for showers and thunderstorms, some strong to severe, mainly south and east of I-71.

  • Estimated between 2 pm and 10 pm on Wednesday.

  • Strong to damaging wind gusts that could know down trees and power lines are the primary threat.

  • An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

  • Hail may occur with robust storms.

  • There may be two rounds of showers and thunderstorms (morning and afternoon/evening). The latter storm will be the more likely for severe weather.
