Attention Clinton County residents: Due to a recent global IT outage caused by a software glitch, several local services may be experiencing disruptions. This incident has impacted various sectors, including healthcare, aviation, emergency services, and banking. We are working diligently with local departments and jurisdictions to provide updated information and ensure continuity of essential services. Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV):

  • BMV is unable to conduct transactions at this time and are closed. No ETA as of this update for reopening.



Clinton County Health District:

  • Birth and Death Certificates services are back online (normal operations).

  • WIC benefits transactions are back online (normal operations).



Title Office:

  • The Title office is unable to conduct transactions and is closed at this time. No ETA as of this update for reopening.


Note: Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) indicated an increase in phishing emails today offering help to individuals/agencies to fix the issue. Stay cyber aware.
